Miracle Cards

The "It's A Miracle I'm Having a Workshop " is coming up next week, and I just wanted to share one of my new favorite little embellishments from the workshop cards. I put brads into the button holes to mimic little circle flowers - adorable! You can see a slideshow with closeups of all 14 cards...just CLICK HERE!

This paper is only available in a special packet while supplies last this month to celebrate National Scrapbooking month. Contact me asap to get your Miracle today!

Cherry-O Scrapbook Club in June!

I'm so excited for this kit - I couldn't wait to print my pics and put them on the pages! I've revamped the club pricing so that kits start at just $20 - email me if you want to see the new price sheet. We do 6 pages plus 6 cards, plus dinner is provided - it's the best value in scrap classes and super fun to boot! I'll post the cards tomorrow.

I used some pics of Gabe and Ben, ages 3 and 1 I had done last year. there were a lot of pics, so I decided to spread them out with different angles on the journalling.

Page 1/2: Life with the boys as a stay at home mom...

Page 3/4: How the boys interact at age 3 and age 1...

Page 5/6: I love this song, so I was excited for the StickEase Title. The journaling is about each boys unique personality at that age. The scalloped StickEase in the top corner says "Families are like fudge, mostly sweet with a few nuts." Perfect!

Mojo Monday - Mojo 138: Cherry O 6x6 Card

Hi, ladies! I've been following a cool blog: mojomonday.blogspot.com  Every Monday they send you an email with a fresh new card sketch and adorable artwork. I've been meaning to start playing on the weekly challenge for a while, and now that Max is sleeping a bit more, I'm finally getting there!

This week's sketch was a big Square card - not my normal bag, baby. I did a 6x6 card using the yummy new Cherry O papers, along with the stamp set from June's Monthly Memories Scrapbook club called Bowl of Cherries. I distressed everything with the Cocoa Distressing ink cube - so handy! I made paper ribbons from one of the patterned papers, and added the new Colonial White Designer brads emhanced with the new Glitz Stardust glitter gel in the de-bossed areas of the brad. I aded the glitter to the cherries too. The stitching is faux - I pulled it from one of the paper prints and just glued it on! The pearls on the bowl I got from those adorable new Cherry O Opaques - just took one apart and used the pearls individually. Hope you like it!

Become a follower of my blog this month and I'll be sending you some yummy Blog Candy!

My three boys - Silhouette papers in Studio J

My latest Studio J Creation - more pics of the boys, of course. I did a lot of changing the zoom on the cropping on these photos - it was so simple! Just click and drag to the size and place I want the photo to be. The little quote is a My StickEase  - one amazing benefit of working with StickEase online is that you can resize them to fit any space you want! You can make them as big or as small as you need to fit your design needs.

I especially love that I whipped out a layout on my couch while watching TV with my hubby and farming my Farmville crops. Easy peasy! More paper art coming later this week though - gotta get back to my first crafty love, too!
