May SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!We will be featuring May's SOTM, which is You've Got A Friend, a bold and trendy set of 5 large sentiment stamps. If you have come here from MAUREEN'S BLOG, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here

This month we have dozens of Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
This month I made this sweet and simple card for my Team Swap, which we got to do in person when I traveled down to Portland for the CK Scrapbooking Expo. I combined my favorite sentiment from this set with One Way Borders and a bold color combo to make this trendy card. A sentiment framed in Gold Glitter paper and a sprinkling of gold star sequins topped with grey Epoxy Bubbles and star shaped nail gems added a touch of happy shimmer!

I used post-it notes to mask the border stamps and create the varied background arrows. Then I stamped the sentiment right over the background stamps, and again on a square of White Daisy CS. After matting the square onto Glitter paper I just lined it back up with the base stamp and patted on Almond Glitter Glitz for extra sparkle. I'm linking up to the Heart 2 Heart Once Upon a Time challenge, since this is something special that I say to my children all the time at bedtime.

Now "Hop" on over to JILL'S BLOG to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants' Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the SOTM is only available until the end of May. Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set for just $5!

Only 4 days left!

There's only a few days left to get your bonus free Cricut Collection when you join CTMH in April. I don't do a lot of these kinds of posts, but it's just such a good deal on this special I couldn't resist. I mean, $400+ in product for $99? That is so much better than the deal I got back in 2002!  I'm not one of those high pressure leaders, but I feel so lucky to have a wonderful and enthusiastic team that loves to do things together. I just got back from the Portland CK scrapbooking Expo, where we cropped all day then hit the town for dinner, and it was just so awesome to hang with my ladies. We are counting the days to our June adventure, because we are all about the fun!
Most of our Stamping Rules team is planning to travel together to the Corporate Convention this summer at DisneyLand. We've got teamwear projects started, and many are coming down early so we can hit the park together. We aren't just a CTMH team - these ladies are my friends, my family. I joined CTMH so many years ago for the paper discount....but I stayed, happily, for the friendships, love, and giggles. OK, ok - I love not paying for my scrapping supplies too. I can't imagine my life without CTMH!
If you've been thinking about joining or starting a business, drop me a PM on FB or email me. I'd love to answer your questions and help you make the right decision for you. It's not too late to join us at Disney in June for the 30 year Artistic Adventure!
Dont' forget to pop over and enter this week's drawing - three prizes are up for grabs!

Practical Scrappers Scrapping Our Stash Hop

Hello, Crafty Friends! I'm excited to be hopping today with the talented gals from Practical Scrappers in our monthly Scrapping Our Stash Hop. You should be arriving here from the blog of the fabulous SUSIE BENTZ! If you get lost you'll find the full list of hoppers on the Practical Scrappers blog

I created this Hoop Wall Hanging, which will be one of a series that will hang in my new stamp room here in Spokane. Since we are scrapping our stash almost everything I used is either retired CTMH, leftover from scrapbooking kits, or random craftiness I had just hanging around the stamp room. I bought ten hoops of various sizes to fill with fun quotes about stamping and glitter. Yay, project!
Lots of old favorites are in here, from Designer Rhinestone brads to that old Bohemian assortment which included crochet flowers and awesome old-but-new buttons. I used some pearl headed pins I keep around for unsticking my adhesive bottles.  I even had to create that cork "E" in LIFE from an extra B, lol. I have three of those awesome Bohemian Assortments to give away for you awesome hoppers, so be sure to enter to win below!

Next up on the hop is the talented ERIN MOREHOUSE

Ivy Lane Monthly Memories Pages

I'm hard at work on my shiny new laptop rebuilding my templates from scratch for our page instruction kits after the my poor overworked laptop went kablooey...twice already this year. These 6 pages in this kit I'm working on for Ivy Lane layer lots of awesome Chipboard, acrylic flowers from the Pink Base and Bling Jewels (not just for jewelry making!), and the new Purple glitter gems. Come back tomorrow to check out the Skylark pages...and club ladies, you'll have these instructions in hand by this weekend, as your kits have already been ordered! I {heart} you guys for being so patient with me while we transition through my move. See you soon!
