Day 200: SOTM Watercolor Happy Birthday Card

Tonight I'm sharing another September SOTM card made using the new watercolor paints.
I heat embossed the floral spray from the SOTM using White Daisy ink and white powder onto a panel of watercolor paper. then I washed on watercolors starting with the yellow/oranges and working my way out to the deeper purples. I added some flicks of paint droplets by tapping my brush sharply over the panel.
Then I painted a strip of watercolor paper with an ombre of yellow and orange watercolor. I let that dry before adding my sentiment using Hello Life and my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad. There's a teensy bit of Never more paper in that banner cluster and some of the new grey Enamel Gems.

I'm linking this card up to the Heart 2 Heart Coloring Challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
