Day 44: Seasonal Expressions Blog Hop

Welcome to the Seasonal Expressions 2 Blog Hop! We've got over 40 talented Consultants sharing their fresh creations with the new products in the just released Seasonal Expressions Idea Book. You might be arriving here from JUDY'S BLOG - let's hop!
Since today's hop coincides with the next Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge sketch, that seems like a perfect match! I used the new Blossom Papers - so bright and cheerful! I added some accent lines with the new 1/4" tapes in the Carnival Washi pack. I stitched along the edges of the card pieces with 2 strands of orange sewing thread.
Then I stamped some bits from my favorite new stamp set, called Happy Everything. It's the newest Operation Smile stamp set, so not only is it stinkin' adorable, but every time someone purchases this cutie CTMH donates $3 to Operation Smile to help fund free, life changing surgeries for children around the world. I filled each little balloon with lots of glitter gel, and added some Black Wink of Stella to the fabulous sentiment so it really shimmers in real life!

Next up on the hop is  PAM'S BLOG. Make sure to stop by every blog to soak up all the sunshine and crafty goodness!

  10. What a cheerful card! I love it. Is that a bit of Jackson paper behind the stamping? If so it looks great with Blossom.

  12. Very cool card... I love that you use the stitching... I love the way it looks ... what do you use? Is it hand stitching? Do you use a regular machine? It just adds so much. As always, one of my favorites I've seen...

  13. I do machine stitch sometimes, Lisa, but in this case it's simple so I used my piercing ruler and hand-stitched. I keep a glass jar of random cheap thread on my desk just in case I need to stitch.
