I had the chance to crop all day with Scrapper's Attic on Sunday, and whip out a few more #PICrop projects. I love getting to spend the day being crafty - thanks for being super dad, honey!
One of the projects I finished was a swap card for Karen Morris's SOTM card swap. This is the April SOTM, and it blows my mind that April is in just a couple of days! I used this cute sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the new Blossom paper pack that's going live on April 1st. I love the colors, so springy and bright! I used an April SOTM sentiment to stamp that Glacier background. I think my fav piece on this card is that rainbow zip strip.
I used a post it to mask off the sentiment so I could stamp it in two colors. I just stamped it on the post-it once and carefully trimmed out the word BEST. Then I inked the words except the word best in Lagoon ink and stamped it onto my project. I cleaned the stamp and inked only the BEST and stamped that in Sunset, using the post-it mask to protect my lagoon stamped sentiment. I finished off the card with a few silver sequins, some turquoise glitter gel, and liquid glass on the typewriter keys.
I'm lovin' this new SOTM - check back tomorrow for the SOTM blog hop to see even more ideas and fun projects with this set.
