Happy Forever Hedgehogs!

Hi, Stampin' friends! I wanted to post a lot in June, but then we were laid low by strep and pneumonia at our house, so now it's almost July. Yikes! I've got some fun July SOTM art to share this month - these hedgehogs are just too adorable!

This card is done with the Cherry-O Creative Basics paper packet - one of my favorite things from the Summer catalog this year! I especially love the Tulip velvet ribbon included in the packet. Note the button embellishment - those are Bitty Brads tucked into the button holes in place of stitching!

I made a mask for the hedgehog to use my sponge dauber for quick coloring of his fur and body. You stamp the image and use an exacto knife to carve out the spaces you want to color. Then you lay it over your project and stipple the color onto your project through the mask for quick and easy coloring!

And of course there's Glitter Glitz on that tiny butterfly - another of my favorite new things! Enjoy, and I'll pop some more hedgehogs up soon!

I'm back! It was the last day of school...

so, of course, Gabe and I had to do some stamping. Gabe traced some nice thank you notes for his teachers and stamped some trains. I whipped up these sweet photo albums with the adorable Animal Cookies papers and the Family Ties - Children stamp set. I love those little stick figure kiddos! Ben was stamping stick figure babies on copy paper while Gabe and I made our project. We also used the Classmates alphabet to add the Teach title/subtitles. School's out for summer!
