Tonight I was checking out a cute CTMH challenges blog called
Heart 2 Heart, and they are doing a CASE challenge - my favorite kind of thing! I always say that I'm a fabulous stamplifter! When you CASE something, you copy something about it - the color scheme, or the basic card design, and give it a tqist of your own.
Another fun blog I've been peeking at is called Moxie Fab, and they are having a
Tuesday Trigger inspiration challenge right now - something clicked and I came up with this pink welcome baby card based on the colors in the Tuesday trigger, using Jody Gustafson's basic card design!
I sanded and inked the edges of all the pink cardstock. I used a new stamp set called Zoology, with these cute little solid animals and a ticket to fill up. I stamped the background repeatedly with the adorable little elephant in black ink, and the 3/4" Blush CS strip with a couple of the cute little line pattern stamps from Zoology - I know those are going to be so versatile! Then I knotted on some pink and yellow ribbons, and pierced those with a Pin Clip and one of the new beaded pins from the Bling Collection - love those! I topped my pin clip off with one of the new Bling Collection Rhinestone buttons - so sparkly in person. I used my pin clip to suspend my little "hello there" pink elephant ticket sentiment block, which is paper pieced. Topped off with a Just Blooms Flutter butterfly, and I'm done!
This was whipped out quickly just for fun, since I've been burning the midnight oil every night prepping for my upcoming Open House. Sometimes you just gotta stamp!
