Day 285: Stamp-a-Stack 2015

This is the last of my 2015 Stamp-a-Stack cards. As per our tradition, each card will be $1. I've tried to design these with quick and easy in mind, making sending a handmade holiday greeting faster, simpler, and easier. Ordering info is below, but order soon, as I'm only taking orders for one week this year. To Go Card kits will be shipped out ASAP, with stamped items included (though coloring will be left up to your creativity) and embellishments as shown. The Spokane workshop date is TBA, coming soon as I'm sure of John's travel schedule!
I saw a card similar to this once on Pinterest, but couldn't find it again to link here. If anyone knows that pin, please leave it in the comments so I can give a shout out to the original artist. I remember when I saw it I just loved the idea of a red and green snowflake card, as I tend to be a blue and purple snowflake gal. It makes me think of those classic Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph type holiday movies.
I added some dots of clear glitter gel...because a card can never have too much sparkle!
Ready to get crafty on your holiday cards? Place your order by December 11th. I'll be producing ready to stamp card kits every night next week to ship them to you ASAP. All you have to do is glue them together (or possibly color) and add your own glitter touches. For card A the sponging/mask for the background will be included in the kit for you to complete unless you note in the comments that you want them sponged for you, because making the cards is half the fun! People always ask which design is the fastest to make, and I'd say this year that's Card D. Envelopes, as always, are included! Free workshop night (TBD when my hubby gets home from Canada) or kit delivery in Spokane, or get your card kits mailed to your home. If you prefer to receive fully completed cards, please contact me for a quote. Happy Holiday Stamping!

Day 284: Peace and Joy Holiday Card

Tonight I've been designing simple (almost) one layer cards for my annual Stamp-a-Stack!
For this tranquil card I went back to a retired stamp set from last year. I masked and sponged layers of snow (and that moon), then overstamped with the tree and snowflake texture images.
I added the sentiment on a clean white banner to help it pop out from the background. You can also see where I added Wink of Stella, which made some unexpected but pretty brushstrokes as I added the sparkles. I'll be sharing the last Stamp a Stack card tomorrow, and taking orders for just one week!

Let It Snow Stamp A Stack Sneak Peek

I'm trying to keep the Stamp A Stack cards simple this year, because we need to Stamp A Stack, right? Then I get the glitter gel in my hands and I can't help myself. Now my simple snowy hills are inked and glittered. It's still nice and flat and ready to be mailed though!
How utterly adorable is this penguin? I paper pieced his hat, bow-tie, and ornament, and gave him wiggly eyes...plus some of my favorite Chunky Clear Glitter to accent his hat. I was inspired to choose this red and teal color combo by this week's Festive Friday color challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and have an ICE day!

Peace and Joy Stamp A Stack Sneak Peek

Whew! I have been uber-busy this weekend. I've finished 40 some-odd Holiday cards, 3 paper mache home decor letters for tomorrow's post (if you like glitter, don't miss that one!), attended a fun day long CTMH training in Salem, grocery shopped and cooked meal prep for the next week (we're doing the Whole30, so there's a Whole-lotta cooking happening round here), and prepped a ton of stuff to hit the mail this week. Before I crash into my soft, cozy bed, here's a little dose of Peace and Joy for y'all...and Stamp A Stack sneak peek #2.
This card was inspired by this week's MUSE Challenge. Therese's pretty purple snowflakes made my heart flutter! I stamped mine in Gypsy, second generation Smokey Plum, and Whisper, then embellished the flakes with lots of Stardust glitter glitz gel. I did some gray baker's twine across the top accented with a bit of organdy ribbon and a teensy silver bell. My glitter photog'd pink, but in real life it's iridescent and so pretty! I'm also linking up to the CAS on Sunday One Layer Challenge.

Time to grab some sleep - I hope you'll join me again tomorrow for two posts with one fabulous sparkly project and one super exciting announcement!
