Unicorns and Rainbows Workshop

I am so very excited to teach this class! I can't even tell you how much fun I had designing this one. It's rainbows. It's unicorns. It's watercolor. It's glittery. It's everything I love in one happy, colorful place.
I'll be hosting this sparkly workshop on May 21st. You have so many options with this kit. You can make just the six cards for $12. Or you can make EIGHTEEN cards (3 of each design) for $25. Everything you need is included, except the watercolor paints (but I'll share my paints in class).
Or you can make this adorable 6x6 Mini Album for just $20! Can you see that sweet heart print paper? Swoon! This project has no stamping, and all the embellishments pictured are included! It's a double sides display album, so when you flip it around you get this:
Or you can have it ALL for just $35. Seriously. the mini Album and 18 cards. The full color instructions and, if you are local, The May 21st full day crop with lunch is included. The only thing you need to bring is your own favorite adhesive. This Unicorn and Rainbows workshop is truly magical!

If you are on my VIP FB group, there's a special watercolor bonus bundle posted there right now!

Ready to rainbow it up with us? Order your choice of kit below! If you need it shipped to your home, please choose the shipping option too, or we can meet up locally for free if you aren't able to attend on May 21st. Here's the Paypal link to reserve your kit.

Holler if you have questions, and have a magical day!

Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrapping Our Stash monthly blog hop! In this hop you'll find creative project made entirely from items just hanging out in our stash of crafty goodies. You may be arriving here from CHRISTINE'S BLOG. Below this post you'll find a list of all the hoppers for this month.
This page for my Gilmore Girls My Crush Swap group may be one of my favorite things I've made this summer. Each flower was crafted from individual flowers cut on the Cricut. We send our Gilmore Girls crush books from person to person,c rafting pages for all the fans in our swap group!
I topped each flower with a gold sequin and then filled the sequins with layers of orange glitter gel. It's so sparkly! Next up on the hop is MAJKEN'S BLOG. Happy hopping!

Day 313: Top Posts for 2015

Time flies when you are having fun, Stampin' Friends. I'm 313 days into my 365 day blogging challenge, and I hope you've been having as much fun as I have!
I poked back through my (almost) year of blogging to see which posts were most popular, then picked out my favorites of your favorites to share once more today. I hope you'll forgive me for not posting a new project, but today was my littlest son's birthday and he needed me more than I needed to craft, so I only got to work on my project for tomorrow's Blog Hop in between cooking all his favorite foods and cleaning and decorating for the Harry Potter shindig we are hosting Saturday. There's only 52 more days to go in my challenge, and I can't tell you how grateful I am to each of you friendly readers for following along and supporting my creative exploration this year. Crafters are the best!

We just found out that we are moving back to Portland, which brings for me a confusing mixture of joy and tears...and a wee bit of panic as my hubby needs to be there to start his new adventure in just two weeks, leaving me to manage the whole caboodle until we can get the family move organized too. I'm looking forward to my nightly crafting sessions as therapy and rest from the crazy days ahead!
I made this image of my oldest son's hands just before we decided to move to Spokane a little less than two years ago. I find it a helpful reminder today as well.

Happy New Year, Stampin' Friends, and onward to new adventures in 2016!

Day 307: Free Disney Mini Album Instructions

Merry Christmas, Stampin' Friends! It's been a busy but happy day here today. After we put the boys to bed, I was pondering what to share with you today...and I realized I have one project left from my Convention Presentation this summer that I never shared with y'all. I meant to, but I was finishing the instructions and then it just got away from me.
I made this adorable Disney Mini Album using lots of Cricut cuts, the PML Gold Overlays, and the Reel Life stamp set. It was so much fun to build, and quick to fill. I'm sharing the instructions (with lots more pics) for this cutie for free - just email me and I'll shoot you a PDF. You can grab the Cricut Design Space cut file here. I'm linking this project up to the Heart 2 Heart Gifts from the Heart challenge.

Merry Everything, Stampin' Friends!

Day 302: Disney Mini Album Three Ways

This week I finished off a Disney Mini album project using the My Creations Black Mini Album.
I made a few of these, all with the same basic idea for the front cover, but with varied embellishments to finish off the design.

My papers were Simple Stories Say Cheese II and La Vie En Rose black stripe

The embellishments came from a coordinating die cut pack for the Simple Stories line, and a cricut mickey head that I made myself in Design Space. The black acrylic stars came from the Scaredy Cat Assortment.

I'm linking these albums up to the Paper Issues Owl I Want for Christmas party, since tomorrow they head off in the mail to their new homes!

Day 216: Ellie's Adventure Book

So you may remember that the CTMH convention this year had a Up! theme, and that's like one of my all time favorite movies. I know I was supposed to keep it simple, but COME ON, y'all know simple isn't really my bag. Jill did say I could do a little something if I had time after I finished the pocket pages. So I knew that I HAD to make Ellie's Adventure book. This project was my destiny!
So I got me a Kraft Mini Album that hold either 4x6 or (2) 3x4 Picture My Life cards. I wet some Chocolate Cardstock, then carefully crumpled it up, smoothed it back out and hit it with my iron (which basically only irons craft projects...you know, perler beads, cricut iron on vinyl, paper, etc...). Then I trimmed my panel to the correct size for the front cover of my book and sanded my already distressed cardstock gently but heavily to get the right look. I hand stitched the gold detailing on the "cover" using 2 strands and then 8 strands of gold sewing thread. The letters are cut on my cricut (Art Philosophy font at 1/2 inch...can I just take a moment to say thank goodness I got an explore last spring?) and colored with alcohol markers and coated with layers of Liquid Glass. I got the little globe from one of the Going Places Picture My Life cards and added some gold shimmer trim to "tape" it on. I added a sanded and embossed strip of Sorbet Cardstock on the left edge to simulate the cover of Ellie's Adventure Book
Just keeping it simple, right? Ok, the cover was a lotbit of funwork...but it wasn't too insane, and I was totally a good kid on the inside, sliding in the cards and pics without any fuss at all. I got to work with my friend's photos from her trip to Europe (Thanks, Bonnie!), so with amazing pics like that, who needs more embellishments? Me, ok, me, but I was still creatively fulfilled from making the cover so it was all good.

I have GOT to go somewhere cool so I can make my own adventure book, because these Going Places cards need to be going someplace... This was one of my favorite projects I've made all year, and I hope y'all love it as much as I loved making it!

Day 139: Disney Mini Folio Album Workshop

One of the things I really wanted to finish before I left for Disneyland is a sweet little Mickey memory album.  I'm posting this a bit later, because I made one as my gift exchange for the team dinner I'm attending right now...assuming you are reading this right when it posts.
This album uses the adorable kraft Mini Folio album.  It's in a classic Disney color combo with Black, Red (Ruby), and touches of Gold. I've created both Cricut Craft Room and Design Space files for this project so you can replicate it to your heart's content once you've completed your workshop kit (though you will need to own the Mickey and Friends Cartridge or at least the mickey head image to use the files).
The inner fold out pages are all matted and ready for your photos or autographs. There are nine photo mats in all plus one decorative inner cover.  It's only $18 for one folio album kit or $25 for 2 folio albums! Order yours soon - I'll be cutting and shipping kits when I get back from Disneyland!
Prices are for local kit pick-up. If you want me to ship to you, please choose the shipped kit!

Pick up or To Go Kits shipped right to your home!
Note: If you want a different date than 2015, please note in the comments of the Paypal form!

Day 42: Disney Autograph Book

So I got a little jumpstart on a project for this summer when I head to CTMH Convention at DisneyLand in July!
Using the Simple Stories Say Cheese II diecuts and a mini book that CTMH doesn't carry in this print anymore I at least put a cover on my Disney Autograph album.
I mean, how adorable are these gold foil bits? Lots of Liquid Glass and foam tape here...
I cut apart a few bits of my 6x6 paper pad for this, and added some gold foil letter stickers plus a smidgen of my favorite Arrow Washi. I'm going to save the inside pages for another day!

Day 14: Project Life Mini Album

I had done one of my pocket scrapbooking mini albums for a class at a local scrapbook store that ended up not happening, so I thought I'd share anther mini with you - birthday themed this time!
I used the Becky Higgins Celebrate themed Project Life cards and a black/white polka dot washi tape.Still no extra embellies - just cardstock, cards, and washi!
I added an adorable cupcake trimmed from a card overlapping the flaps.
You could tuck a gift card into the pocket and add a few photos to make this a special birthday card too. You can find the ordering info on my PML mini album kit here. I'll share some of the cards next week!

Day 10: Hopscotch PML Mini Album

I wanted to share with you another PML Mini Album I whipped up on Saturday. I am loving these little hybrid album/greeting cards!
This is the front cover - a variation on my fav "Choose Happy" motto. Flip that open and you get:
I trimmed the elements out of the pocket scrapbooking cards, I added lots of arrow washi tape for fun, so I'm linking up to the Paper Issues Enamored with Enamel linky party. Flip down again and:
I alternated the direction that the flaps open up, so when you open everything you get:
I tucked some of my favorite photos inside, photos that always make me smile. I figure they'll be a little more protecting inside all the acid free cardstock. Flip every flap open and you'll see:
Fold it all back up and I put another quote on the back. These cards are full of goodies!
You'll find the instructions to make a fun pocket scrapbooking mini album for yourself right here. I've got another album done to share with you soon!

Day 5: Picture My Life Mini Album

Today I'm sharing a fun project I've been cooking up for the CTMH Picture My Life cards. These sets of adorable cards are good for more than just fast and easy pocket scrapbooking.
I used the Babycakes PML collection to build this sweet flippy mini album and more than a dozen quick cards.
The album would be an amazing shower card/gift, and has a little pocket plus lots of flips and flaps to hold your notes and pics.
How fun are these sweet cards? They look all layered and like lots of work, but the PML cards do all the work for you! I am in love with Picture My Life!

With any Picture My Life purchase through the end of March, I'll send you a pre-scored and folded PML mini album base in a color coordinated to your PML kit choice, ten white card bases, and full color instructions on how to make your own set of pocket scrapbooking goodies. I labored hard over these instructions to make sure they were easy to follow and still adaptable to whichever card kit you choose. I used just one roll of washi tape as my only embellishment, which is basically a minor miracle. You can add a matching roll to your order or just use some from your stash. While I kept my first album simple with just the cards and a roll of washi tape, I think the project would look great with some glitter gel or leftover embellies, so this would be a good stash busting project as well.

This project will work with any one of the fabulous PML kit choices, so just hop on over to my website to choose your favorite. Place your order for any Picture My Life card set (feel free to join the Monthly Memories gathering already open), and I'll ship out your extra kit goodies within three days. If your order is $40 or more, I'll double the PML goodies, so two album bases and 20 cards, since most of the PML kits could easily do two sets of everything.
Consultant Friends you'll find instructions only Consultant Kits here.

Next week I'll show you how this instructional set would with both CTMH's PML cards and the popular Project Life card kits as well. I love this mini album project, and I know you will too!

SOTM Love Hip Pics Pages

A few weeks ago I shared this little Album cover for the January SOTM Blog Hop.
Today I'm finally sharing all the inside goodies.
This is a mini album of the Instagram pics I took of my kiddo during his first month of obsessive tuxedo wearing. He wore it everywhere. He did everything in it. If I'd let he he would've slept in it. He still wears it a couple times a week. Best $20 I ever spent on eBay!
Super fun, right? I just love these little pics, but now I'm gonna have to make an extra one of these for my little fashion plate. He constantly wants to see his Tuxedo book!

I'm linking up to the Paper Issues Prints Charming party with this book of fab photos of my little Prince Fancy Pants.

January SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the first SOTM blog hop of 2015! This month we are featuring This Moment, a LOVE-ly set of 12 heart themed stamps. If you've arrived here from JEAN'S BLOG, you're on the right track!
Today I'm sharing the front cover of this cute Hip Pics album all done up with the January SOTM. Throughout January I'll be sharing interior pages, all stamped with this adorable set.
I really loved this week's RetroSketches sketch, so I used that cuteness for the basis of my album cover. I sketched out a square using red Shimmer Trim, then added a line of rhinestone mesh ribbon I got for a sewing project. I just trim off rows and bits of the ribbon as needed and it lines up beautifully. I adhere it with Liquid Glass, A bit of stardust gel pen outlines the main focal point and the album cover with just a hint of shimmer.

I'll be sharing more pages throughout January, but that's all for today! Now hop on over to see more January SOTM goodness on STEFANI'S BLOG!

Here's another January SOTM project I've made:
