Day 299: Freshly Made Reindeer Holiday Card

Tonight I played with the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
I stamped that adorable reindeer from Reindeer Bells in the center of a Colonial White cs panel, and quickly colored him with Shin Han Alcohol Markers. Then I masked him off, making a mask with a handy post-it before stamping a large (retired) snowflake over top of him.
I went over the snowflake image with a shimmer gel pen, and used the same pen on his bell collar too. For the nose I added a drop of red sparkle nail polish!

Day 296: Joyous Atlantic Hearts Holiday Card

Happy Monday, Stampin' Friends! It's time for another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!
I had these kraft self-adhesive scallop borders from long ago in my stash, but not quite enough to add as many layers to the bottom of the card as I wanted...so I layered the borders with candy cane striped washi tape.
The papers plus the bear and the snow border stickers are all White Pines. I added a few touches of red glitter gel and a stamped sentiment from Reindeer Bells. This was a fast and fun sketch - hope you'll hop over to Atlantic Hearts to play along!

Day 259: White Pines Chipboard Holiday House

CTMH asked for art donations for an auction to raise money for Operation Smile, a fabulous organization that provides free, life changing surgery to children all over the world.
I created this little chipboard house using the White Pines collection and a ton of teal glitter paper.
I filled the house with Santa Hat Hershey's Kisses. I used half a bottle of Liquid Glass and two tubes of glitter gel to finish this project. I hope it brings someone holiday joy...and some funds for Operation Smile!

Day 256: Christmas Blessings Card

Tonight I'm sharing a card inspired by this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.
I had these cute animal choir stickers left from a project I made with the White Pines line this week.
Tomorrow bright and early I head for the CTMH Album Retreat in Utah! I can't wait to share what we are making with you next week.

Day 246: Deer Joy Card

I had this one cute deer chipboard piece left from my White Pines complements, and I hadn't found him a good home yet.
Then I saw the new Freshly Made Sketches Challenge and it seemed tailor made for this big guy. I attached him to a panel of Simple Stories Cozy Christmas paper with the JOY sentiment already printed on there.
I added the deer, and a falling snowflake, both touched with a bit of clear shimmer gel pen. Then I scattered on a few Bitty sparkles and this sweet holiday card was done in a snap!

Day 245: Be Merry Holiday Card

Today I took a quick trip over to Scrapper's Attic and got some fun new goodies, including this Simple Stories 6x6 pad called Cozy Christmas.
I started with the cute new sketch from Retrosketches. I added a base of snowflake paper, and stripes of dots, green shimmer trim, and a preprinted banner with the be merry sentiment, I slid a clear acrylic CELEBRATE sentiment under the wood grain banner.
I added two White Pines chipboard trees with thin 3-D foam tape. Then I patted on some clear glitter gel and added some touched of clear shimmer gel pen. It was so fast and easy!

Day 244: Joy to the World Card

When I saw this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I immediately thought that it would be a great sketch to use with pocket scrapbooking cards.
Now, I'm usually an A2 sized card maker, but to make my White Pines PML card fit the card design perfectly I needed to move up to a 5x7 card. I started with a base of Cashmere cardstock, and added some green shimmer trim and a panel of Cranberry cardstock that I embossed with a chevron embossing folder. Then I hand-stitched around the edge with gold sewing thread.
I added some red flower stickers and detailed those with clear shimmer gel pen and red glitter gel. I topped off the JOY card with a hand tied gold string bow and a gold paper fundamentals bow. It was fun to make a bigger card with a bit more room to stretch out!

Day 236: Christmas Love Card

I've got another White Pines Picture My Life card project today. I love all the varied coordinating patterns in this card set.
I based this card on the new Retrosketches challenge. I cut the background from a White Pines PML card, and the blue banner from a scrap of White Pines paper. Then I added the pen detail and the sentiment from Seasons Greetings.
Then I layered a clear acrylic printed White Pines Complement onto a black scalloped circle, and topped it with the Christmas Love circle from the October SOTM. A few red enamel gems finished off this quick holiday card!

Day 233: Noel Moose Christmas Card

I loved this week's sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge so much I had to hop in and join in the fun!
I cut some 1 1/4" strips of patterned bits out of a 4x6 White Pines Picture My Life Card. Then I trimmed the NOEL sentiment out of another PML card.
I added the stitching, then layered on the Moose sticker from the White Pines Complements to help hold up the banner. I can never resist adding wiggly eyes to sweet cartoon animals. Hope you'll hop over to Atlantic Hearts to try out this week's challenge too!

Day 227: Holiday Expressions Blog Hop

Welcome to the Holiday Expressions Blog Hop. We are featuring festive new products from the new Holiday Expressions idea book. You may be arriving here from DARLYS'S BLOG. Let's hop!
I decided to focus on the new Picture My Life White Pines cards. Working with the new Paper Issues Sketchy Saturday sketch, I filled the spaces with the snowflake themed cards. I added a strip of another card along the top of the large snowflake card.
I slid a White Pines Complements sticker behind the small leaf card and added the photo date. I used the Fundamentals Enchantment stickers for the first part of the title. Then I stamped and cut out the SNOWMAN letters using the Hopscotch alphabet stamp set.
I added a scattering of snowflake stickers from the White Pines Complements, and topped them with red enamel gems and bitty sparkles. It was a lot of fun to make a "traditional" scrapbook page with pocket scrapbooking cards!

Next up on the hop is JENNIFER'S BLOG. Be sure to hop all around to see all thirty consultant's fabulous Holiday Expressions creations!

Day 224: Merry Everything Twinkle Card

I am just loving this adorable October Stamp of the Month!
I stamped a Colonial White card base with the Merry Everything sentiment repeatedly in 2nd generation Cashmere ink. Then I added it again just once once in Cranberry ink. The papers to fill in the card are all White Pines, and the snowflake border came from the White Pines Complements.
I wrapped the card base in baker's twine before adding a bow topped with a red enamel gem. Quick, simple, and merry everything indeed!
