So...like 99% of my stamps are Close To My Heart. I love the quality, the soft feel of the stamps, the sturdiness...but the other day I was minding everyone else's business on Instagram when I saw a post about an amazing sale on these thine Heidi Swapp stamp sets. I mean, Heidi Swapp, 5 sets, 10 bucks from @peachycheap. They arrived today!
I combined my haul with some Chalk It Up papers and careful rainbow roll stamping. You start with the first color, then for each subsequent line you ink your stamp in the next color and roll the top edge of the stamp into the previous color to get the gradiations. Except yellow - always ink yellow before a darker color! I used the new Freshly Made Sketches sketch for my card design.
Wondering what that shiny gold striping on my paper is from? I got a Minc! No, ha ha, just kidding!
I got some fabulous Nail Striping Tape super cheap. It's so shiny and I love being able to add metallic pinstripe accents for just pennies! I'm linking up to the CAS on Sunday Gold Challenge and the Paper Issues Prints Charming Issue.
