Day 169: Merry Christmas August SOTM Card

When I was pondering what to make today I came across the new Muse: Christmas Visions challenge and the inspiration card just screamed August SOTM to me. When inspiration screams, you just gotta listen!
I stamped the starburst frame four times onto scrap white cardstock, rolling each frame in two colors of ink (Glacier/Pacifica, Sunset/Cranberry, Canary, Sunset, and Kiwi/Topiary). I trimmed out the frames carefully, very close to the frame edges. Then I stamped holiday images across the completed frames. I added a few sparkles and some glittery touches with Stickles and a clear shimmer gel pen.
I mounted the framed to White Daisy cardstock, then trimmed the panel close to the edges of the frames. I mounted that frame panel onto some Black cardstock and then stitched in white thread around the edges of the stamped panel to finish off the card.
No more screaming 'round here...'cause the boys are in bed and inspiration had been fulfilled!

Fabulous card, Wendy! I love how you created the multicolored background with the same frame stamp--very creative idea. Glad you were inspired to share this card.
