Day 325: Thinking Of You SOTM Card

I've been trying to get around to playing with this adorable new sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch all week, but the packing, folks...the packing....
Tonight I carved out a moment for creativity, using the kit of materials I set aside from everything that will be packed and moved with our household goods. Boy, did that feel good! I used the January SOTM, but instead of using a darker shade of color for the outline stamp I used black, as inspired by this goodness I saw on Denise Anderson Turley's Instagram. Love!!
I rolled the flower base in a combo of Glacier, Lagoon, and Peacock inks before adding that black outline. I popped up part of the sentiment on a white banner, then nestled some double layered sequins around the sentiment (gold on tan). I filled the sequins with gold glitter gel. Finally I had to go back and draw in that black border with a fine tipped marker. Now I gotta get back to packing!
