Convention Layout Kit Giveaway!

Isn't this just a beautiful layout? It's one of the MANY beautiful projects CTMH designed for us to make at convention this year. As a Create n Take helper I was lucky enough to get to make this layout at home the week before convention - but without the markers and Autumn Lane Accessories, which we colored the roses and popped the finishing touches on the Layouts right at the beginning of Create N Take. It's got two of the new smaller Flip Flaps on there (where you can see the shine showing) so you can tuck more personal journaling or extra pictures behind some of the 3x3 squares. That's why I've got an extra kit to share with one lucky Stamping Friend!
How cute is this circle embellishment? You punch pairs of 1 1/4" circles and fold the edges in on the top layer. We found that it's easier to do that if you cut a scrap of CS or desk pad to 7/8" and use that as a guide to fold in the edges. Then you adhere the folded circle to it's partner and line them up - adorable!!

Here's a closer look at the marker coloring we did (in 30 seconds, lol) with our Cotton Candy alcohol Marker pair right before Create n Take started. They literally had us scribble like a preschooler with the lighter color - so much fun! We came back in and scribbled around the edges with the darker marker of the pair and then we used the lighter color like a blending pen to soften those lines. It literally took seconds and came out beautifully!

A few of tips for these new not-like-Copic markers - make sure you've got plenty of desk pad or scratch paper under the image you are coloring, as the markers bleed through a lot. Try to keep the marker tip to paper contact at a minimum so you aren't wasting ink and letting the alcohol based ink just soak through lickety split. And use the Pigment ink pad to stamp your images before coloring for best results!

Ready to win? I've got a precut kit of these two pages and a Full Autumn Lane Assortment for one lucky Stamping Friend! Make sure you click on the Rafflecopter buttons below to be entered for each item you've completed, whether you did it today or not. Thursday night I'll let Rafflecopter choose a winner to be announced on my Friday Favorite Things post! Good luck!!

That's the story of this layout - thanks for stopping by!

I love following you blog,I also have you linked to my blog so that any of my followers can see your awesome latest creations. I can't wait for my new Artiste to arrive....and I'm hoping that I'll be able to attend Convention in 2013 and we can meet. It is my goal to meet all consultants that inspire me to create. I've only been a consultant for 4 1/2 months, so thank you!
