I'm baaack! I was not very on top of this posting every day thing. I could, you know, schedule the posts in advance and be all organized, but where's the fun in that? Instead I've been posting one or two and coming back every other day to post another. So today you get two posts, because I {heart} Retro Sketches and I need to meet their deadline. Plus that's how much I love y'all...and that's totally how I roll. Which brings us neatly back to my ProPlayer project for today, a little fusion cute-baby-card project on a techy-pixelated background. I used the doily from one of the Artbooking Stamp sets and the sentiment from the new Maximum Power set. Don'tcha just love that sentiment?
I covered the chipboard pieces with washi tape (secured with a bit of Liquid Glass) and ran my Silver Metallic marker around the edges to finish. I used an Artbooking heart overlay leftover as a guide to add the Red Glitz heart to my baby carriage. The handle was a leftover letter from my favorite Pixie Glitter Alphabet Stickers, and the wheels are two of the new Black Mini Medley Glitter Buttons topped with gems from the Black Base & Bling (both of those are available August 1 as well). I slipped on some flags made from the new Ruby Chevron Ribbon, the Red Shimmer Tape, Slate Twist Ties, and a smidgen of In The Background (I wasn't kidding in my feature on Jeanette's Blog when I said I ALWAYS have something from this stamp set blocked and ready to go on my tabletop...just sayin').
I'm linking this project up to the Retro Sketches sketch for this week, because it was like I made this card just for this sketch...and since I'm sharing it for the first time, I figure it's kismet. Plus that RetroSketches blog is just totally awesome, and I have missed playing with their sketches...so much so that I'm making cards that match even before the sketch gets posted! Man, I love RetroSketches!
Don't forget to discover the JOY of entering this week's giveaway! I just know you're gonna win! Or at least somebody will win....could be you! The suspense is killing me! (Hmmm...Maybe we've watched Wonka one too many times lately...is that even possible?)
