Let There Be Peace for Cath

I just finished my Sparkle and Shine pages for Friday night when my sweet scrappin' ladies are coming over to play. Scraps were all over my table and I realized that I really wanted to make a card. I've been working a lot on this crush book project and club and craft fair stuff, and I just haven't been letting myself stray from the to-do list...plus Moxie Fab is hosting a Cards for Cath linky party, which just about breaks my heart as Moxie Fab is one of my absolute favorite places to hang out. I feel like Cath has taught me so much about style and card making. I look forward to her witty words and beautiful inspiration photos...I'm just so sad to see it all end. So instead of crying about Cath's departure some more, I whipped up this sweet holiday card ten-minute-craft-dash style, using the Merry Monday color prompt  and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch
I embossed white cardstock with my big dots folder and matted it on the aqua cardstock. A bit of the polka dot pattern that is my total favorite thing topped off with an extra strand of the Sparkle and Shine paper banner brought in more circles. I topped the card off with a pre-printed chipboard sentiment. I added a few bitty sparkles all over the sentiment piece and a couple of Red Shimmer Tape flags, then my crafty heart was at peace. Much as I hope you'll be at peace, and bring even more Moxie Fab fun wherever you go, Cath Edvalson. You are Moxie Fab, and you will be sorely missed.
