Day 197: Hello Life Blog Hop

Welcome to the National Stamping Month Hello Life Blog Hop! This month we are featuring the three fabulous stamp sets from CTMH's National Stamping Month exclusive Hello Life. You may be arriving here from JENNIFER'S BLOG. Let's go!
I've been having a lot of fun with my new watercolor paints, so I wanted to try them out for a scrapbook page. I washed a sheet of watercolor paper with yellow paint, then added in some darker yellow streaks. Then, inspired by the new sketch at Sketchabilities, I added some streaks of black and purple and let them drip down the page. After that dried I stamped over the watercolor with the background image from the September SOTM before adding some Nevermore papers and handcut and watercolored flowers. Sorry that the pic is so wavy - the page looks fine and square in the protector, but I couldn't get a straight pic out of the protector.
I used the Hello Life stamps to add my title, the date arrow, plus that cute swoopy orange chevron tag and black circle to the right of the photos. I just love the mix of fonts on these sets, and while I know that CTMH has designed them for specific paper crafting purposes, I've been mixing and matching all three sets together a lot. Good thing they are such a good deal!
These three gorgeous stamp sets are only available during the month of September, so contact your consultant or click here to be sure you get yours before they disappear! Next up on the hop is JEN'S BLOG - happy hopping!
