I love this little house in the October SOTM (coming soon!), so I knew I wanted to do a sweet little card using that image.
I used the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch, but turned upside down so my snow could be like the banner swoosh. I drew my color inspiration from this week's Color Throwdown. I stamped large snowflakes from Best Christmas onto Whisper Cardstock and sanded it heavily. That's where the sentiment came from too.
Then I stamped the house four times in Sky, Crystal Blue, Pear, and Slate Inks so I could piece it together. I added some stardust glitter gel to the edges for snow and smoke from the chimney. The tree is also October SOTM, trimmed out of the center of the large ornament. I popped the house and one of the trees up with foam tape to add a bit more dimension to the scene.
Now we're off to the circus - have a great weekend!
